Cape Town - What if the magazine you were reading could come alive in front of your eyes? 

Well, now it can! 

The smart folks over at Huisgenoot, YOU and Drum have introduced a new free 3D app that make their pages come alive with 3D images. 

All you need to experience the magic is a smart phone or tablet (available for iOS and Android devices) and Huisgenoot, YOU or Drum’s new free 3D app. 

The technology is called Augmented Reality and for the next few months there will be a 3D model hidden somewhere in Huisgenoot, YOU and DRUM every week. 

Simply download the app, look out for the 3D icon in the magazine and use the app to scan the page to see it in a new dimension. 

Hopefully we will be able to enjoy George Clooney in all his 3D glory soon!!
