Los Angeles - Sarah Jessica Parker would never have a live-in nanny.
The I Don't Know How She Does It star, who has three children with husband Matthew Broderick, says it's important to be hands on with her children and thinks only she and Matthew should be fully involved in raising them.
"We don't have any live in help. We're pretty hands on parents. That's something that's important to both of us, and we don't shirk it, because what's the point in having a family if you're not going to really participate in it, you know?"
The 46-year-old actress also believes having her children later in life means she's a bit more relaxed than she may have been if she'd been a younger mother.
The Sex and the City star told US Vogue: "I guess I think there are things about it that I hope have made me a better mother. I've had a lot of opportunities to do the things that I wanted to do, like sleep. I have slept until 11 for a lot of years. Honestly, the only thing that I'm concerned about is the energy: I hope I can maintain the energy," said the actress.
