Selena Gomez wants her own reality TV show and Kris Jenner is helping her get it!

Los Angeles - Selena Gomez wants to star in her own reality TV series.

The 22-year-old singer, who split from Justin Bieber last October after four years of dating, wants to revamp her image and is reportedly in talks with Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Kris Jenner about launching her own show.

A source close to the Come & Get It hitmaker told US OK! magazine: "Selena is tired of being seen as Justin Bieber's lovesick ex, so she's hatched a plan to do her own reality show.

"Selena thinks a reality show could boost her career."

Kris, 59, whose daughters Kendall, 19, and Kylie Jenner, 17, have had a rocky friendship with Selena in the past, is convinced the series would be a huge hit with the starlet's fans.

The insider added: "She's serious when she tells Selena that her show will cause the Kardashians' own ratings to dip."

Meanwhile, Kris is also said to be working on repairing Selena's bond with Kylie, whom she fell out with last year amid rumours she was jealous of Kendall's friendship with Justin.

A source told HollywoodLife.com: "Kris brought up to Selena at the Met Ball that Kylie missed her and that she would love to see them talk again.

'It's massive baby steps, but they have been testing it out to become friends again and have talked and obviously hung out. It's a work in progress between them. They won't be hanging out together alone yet, but in a group, it seems to have worked out positively."
