Selena wants 'fresh start' with Justin

Los Angeles - Selena Gomez wants to give her relationship a fresh start in 2013 reports HollywoodLife.com.

Selena - who has been dating Justin Bieber on and off for more than two years - wants to put the drama between them over the past few months, in the past.

The 20-year-old shared her hopes for the coming year with her Twitter followers, writing: ''New beginnings. Fresh start. I love you all."

A source told HollywoodLife.com the message was for her 18-year-old Canadian boyfriend, saying: "[Selena] said she wants to start things new with Justin again and act like they are a new couple and leave all of the drama and bullshit behind.

Justin and Nick Jonas' bromance

"She said 2013 is their year and they need to get back to basics. She wants to hold him to it though so she's letting all of her followers know."

Justin has hurt Selena numerous times over the past six months by hanging out with Victoria's Secret models in New York and most recently by becoming good friends with her ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas.

But he has since been trying to make amends. He whisked Selena away on a romantic getaway earlier this week and the couple were spotted arriving in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico together over the weekend where they reportedly celebrated New Year's Eve on the beach.

Win back her heart

It was also recently revealed that he has written a number of new love songs about Selena for his new album, in a desperate bid to completely win back her heart again.

A source close to Selena previously said: "Justin told Selena that he wrote her a bunch of new songs and they are going on the album.

"He is desperate for her attention, but she is flattered. Sel loves him but just wants him to treat her better. But she loves when he sings about her, so she's flattered."
