Shane Warne set to pop the question

2011-09-26 12:18

London - Shane Warne is planning to propose to Elizabeth Hurley.

The Australian cricket legend is reportedly set to ask the actress and model to marry him, just 10 months after they started dating.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Liz and Shane have a really happy, fun and secure relationship. They are forever giggling. Shane absolutely adores her and is keen to make their relationship official.

"He plans on proposing before Christmas, with the couple having a low-key wedding late next year. Shane is romantic and a traditionalist, and will definitely get down on bended knee to do the deed."

Hurley split from her first husband, textile heir Arun Nayar in December 2010, and their divorce was finalised in June 2011.

She and Warne have since enjoyed a number of romantic breaks in his native Australia and India as well as flirting with each other on internet social networking site Twitter.

Hurley has also introduced her nine-year-old son, Damian, to the sportsman's three children, teenager Brooke, and her younger siblings Summer and Jackson, with his ex-wife Simone Callahan.
