Sharon Osbourne: My son will conquer

Los Angeles - Sharon Osbourne believes her son Jack "will conquer" his multiple sclerosis.

The America's Got Talent judge is confident her son Jack - who publicly announced he had the degenerative condition this week - will pull through and fight his illness thanks to his positive attitude.

Speaking on US chat show Conan, Sharon said: "It's actually been a month and we kept it to ourselves for a month.

"He is actually doing amazing, he is so strong and positive. My son will conquer!"

'What did I do wrong'

Jack, 26, was diagnosed with the autoimmune disease which affects the central nervous system in April, just two weeks after he welcomed his daughter Pearl into the world, his first child with his fiancée Lisa Stelly.

He allegedly visited a doctor after experiencing 60% vision loss in one eye and tingling in his limbs.

During her chat with Conan O'Brien, Sharon - who is married to Ozzy Osbourne - appeared to be handling the news better than on Monday when she broke down in tears on her topical CBS show The Talk.

Speaking to the other hosts, she sobbed: "I keep thinking, 'What did I do wrong? What did I eat or drink when I was pregnant?' I feel like it's somehow my fault."
