Los Angeles - Charlie Sheen's ex-wife Brooke Mueller was granted a temporary restraining order on Tuesday against the troubled Hollywood star.
Celebrity website TMZ.com reported that she told a Los Angeles Superior Court judge that the Two and a Half Men star had threatened her and she feared for her safety. The judge ordered Sheen to stay at least 100 metres away from Mueller.
The legal action came just a week after Mueller was reported to have been living in Sheen's house, and had even gone on holiday with him and his two girlfriends - one a porn star and the other the nanny to the couple's two-year-old twins.
Mueller is reportedly preparing a custody lawsuit against the actor.
