Los Angeles - Simon Cowell's pregnant lover has been warned not to leave New York or face losing custody of her son.
Lauren Silverman - who is locked in a bitter divorce battle with husband Andrew - has reportedly been contemplating a move to Los Angeles to be with the X Factor star when she gives birth to their baby, but her estranged spouse has insisted he will fight for custody of their seven-year-old son, Adam.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Lauren and Simon have been talking about their plans for when the baby is born. They both agree she should live with, or at least very near him, so he can be as involved as possible. This has obviously angered her husband. He has told his legal counsel she is not getting their son if she moves across the country. He just wants the best for Adam."
Staying away from Lauren
Lauren, 36, is said to be 12 weeks pregnant with Simon's child and will divorce Andrew, 37, after 10 years of marriage.
Meanwhile, the 53-year-old TV mogul has been enjoying a holiday with male pals on his lavish yacht in St Tropez, France – some 6 000km miles away from his lover.
Simon appeared in high spirits as he was spotted jetting along the river in a Van Dutch speedboat, which took him to his private boat on Sunday.
The Syco boss is allegedly staying away from Lauren until her messy divorce is finalised.
