New York - Simon Cowell's pregnant lover has settled her messy divorce.
Lauren Silverman, 36, who is set to give birth to her first child with The X Factor boss, 53, in February following a passionate affair, came to an agreement with her ex-husband Andrew Silverman in New York on Wednesday.
A source told gossip website TMZ.com that the former couple, who were married for 10 years, have agreed to share joint custody of their seven-year-old son, Adam.
The brunette socialite, who intends to stay in the city to be close to her son, walked away from her marriage with more than $2 million.
Simon staying away from Lauren
Sources close to Lauren also confirmed that she and Simon, who allegedly began having an affair four years ago, are still "very much together".
The couple were originally said to be planning a move to Los Angeles to raise their baby together but Lauren has now assured friends that she won't leave New York because of her son.
It is not yet known whether Simon, who is currently holiday with friends in St Tropez in France, plans to relocate to New York to make the situation easier for his girlfriend.
The Syco boss, who can't wait to become a father, has been staying away from Lauren to give her time to reach an agreement with Andrew.
