Lindsay is finally happy in rehab

Los Angeles - Lindsay Lohan will complete her 90-days of court-ordered treatment at Cliffside Malibu.

While the 26-year-old actress recently left the Betty Ford clinic in Rancho Mirage, California for Cliffside, she will not be allowed to change facilities again before her treatment is complete, despite speculation she wants to finish rehab on the east coast.

A source told RadarOnline: “Lindsay is receiving excellent treatment at Cliffside and responding well. She hasn't asked to go to another facility. She is happy with her current situation, and doesn't want to leave.

“Anyway, neither the judge nor the prosecutor would sign off on another rehab move for Lindsay, if she requested. It was made clear that allowing her to leave Betty Ford for Cliffside would be a one-time occurrence.”

Lindsay's dad wants her closer

However, Lindsay's father Michael Lohan wants her to transfer to a facility on the east coast, in order to be near her family. He said: “She wants to be on the east coast because it's easier for family to see her.”

Lindsay's mother Dina believes she will continue to flourish in her latest rehab facility.

Lindsay's mom says she is happy

In a message to a fan on Twitter, Dina explained why the Scary Movie V star decided to swap facilities, writing: “Betty Ford was amazing and it is a 30 day program .....linds is now moving forward to a place she can continue flourish (sic)”.

Asked by another fan whether the actress is doing okay at the moment, her mother replied: ”She has never been better thank you.”
