Los Angeles - JLS and Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber are among stars to have sent condolences to Gary Barlow.

The Take That frontman and his wife Dawn have been left devastated after their fourth child Poppy was delivered stillborn on Saturday and their friends have rallied round to provide support.

Lord Lloyd Webber - who co-wrote Diamond Jubilee single Sing - tweeted: "Dearest Dawn & Gary, Madeleine & I are devastated about news of Poppy. Our thoughts & prayers are with you and your family. (sic)"

Proud hitmakers JLS - comprising Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes, Oritse Williams and JB Gill - sent their "thoughts and prayers" to the heartbroken couple.

They posted: "We send our condolences to @GBarlowOfficial and his family during this tough time ... our thoughts and prayers with you. Marv and the boys x (sic)"

Gary's fellow X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos also expressed her sadness for the 41-year-old singer and his family.

She wrote: "My thoughts & prayers are with @GBarlowOfficial and wife dawn tonight. Heartbreaking x (sic)"

Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden - who lost a baby boy seven months into a pregnancy - said: "My heart and love goes out to Gary and his family."

Gary and Dawn - who married in 2000 - have three children, Daniel, 11, Emily, nine, and three-year-old Daisy, together.

The Patience hitmaker announced their tragic news in a statement released on Monday, saying: "Dawn and I are devastated to announce that we've lost our baby. Poppy Barlow was delivered stillborn on August 4th in London.

"Our focus now is giving her a beautiful funeral and loving our three children with all our hearts. We'd ask at this painful time that our privacy be respected."
