Straight male celebs kiss to fight Homophobia

Berlin – The German edition of the well-known gentleman’s magazine, GQ, decided to tackle the issue of homophobia in a very unique way in their latest issue.

Germany GQ launched the Gentleman against Homophobia campaign, aiming to spread love and stamp out intolerance across Europe and the world.

The campaign titled  #Mundpropaganda (a pun on ‘word of mouth’ and ‘kissing propaganda’) saw straight local celebrities smooching in front of the camera.

The 13 celebrities who puckered up for the pics were relatively unknown outside the country and included actor August Diehl, the band Revolverheld and singer Herbert Grönemeyet.

According to the magazine not everyone they approached were keen to take part in the campaign.
