Taylor Swift has no Valentine's Day plans

Los Angeles - Taylor Swift has no romantic plans for Valentine's Day.

The We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together hitmaker has been single since splitting from One Direction singer Harry Styles last month and insists she is happy to spend the romantic day rehearsing or with friends.

"I'll probably spend it with my friends or rehearsing. I'll be off in a warehouse somewhere and working on the lighting rig and the lighting cues," she said during a recent interview.

Ode to female friends

"And I don't think I'd rather be anywhere else, to be honest."

While Taylor, 23, famously gets most of her songwriting inspiration from her break-ups, her latest single 22 is an ode to her female best friends.

"Finally I've got this amazing group of girlfriends and we tell each other everything. We're together all the time. I think that was kind of the marker of me being 22 - having all these friends and there are a lot of question marks in your life... But the one thing that you have is you have each other," she explained.
