Cape Town – We don’t usually get involved in politics.
But since Helen Zille’s “announcement of national importance” earlier on Tuesday nobody has been talking about anything else.
So this is us officially jumping on the DA/Agang bandwagon.
If Steven Spielberg ever wanted to make a movie about the announcement that Agang’s Mamphela Ramphele will be standing as the DA's presidential candidate in the 2014 general election he could easily cast any of these five actresses in the leading role.
1) Meryl Streep
Always the first choice. Let’s face it. Meryl Streep can effortlessly portray any person in any role at any time.
2) Emma Thompson
If Steven can't get Meryl he should try Emma. She’s got the short blonde hair. She’s got the attitude. She can totally pull off the Zillenator.
3) Charlize Theron
Keeping it local would be a fabulous idea. Charlize is sure to give an Oscar-worthy performance.
4) Sharon Stone
Let’s sex it up a bit and give Helen a seductive edge. Sharon can surely add some sexiness to the character.
5) Naomi Watts
Since seeing her in the role of Diana we are 100% convinced that Naomi Watts can be Helen Zille in the gripping Spielberg blockbuster.
