Los Angeles - Three people have been arrested outside Taylor Swift's home in Rhode Island after they allegedly accosted her security guards.
The Connecticut natives - Michael Horrigan, 29, Tristan Kading, 28, and Emily Kading, 26 - were charged with misdemeanour breach of peace on Sunday night after they allegedly hurled beer bottles at the singer's home and shouted abuse at her security team.
One guard, Ryan Poirier, told the Westerly Sun newspaper that the trio also "extended their middle fingers" at the team and he managed to photograph the suspects on his mobile phone.
However, one of the accused, Mr Kading, insists this was not the case and they were "not flipping off anyone (...) they were simply throwing up the peace sign like Taylor does in her 22 music video".
It is believed the Everything Has Changed hitmaker was not at the property when the incident took place, according to TMZ.com.
The suspects were later released on promises to appear in court.
Meanwhile, this isn't the first time Taylor, 24, has had a spot of bother at her $17m mansion, which she moved in to in May 2013, as police have also made two trespassing arrests in the past year.
