Topless protesters ambush Heidi Klum

Los Angeles - Heidi Klum was ambushed by topless protesters on live TV.

The supermodel was hosting the live season finale of Germany's Next Top Model in Mannheim, Germany last night when two women hijacked the stage sporting anti-Heidi messages on their bare torsos.

The women bared their upper halves, sporting only jeans, with writing on their chest including: "Heidi Horror Picture Show".

It's not known what they were protesting, but Heidi kept her composure and appeared unfazed by the bizarre disturbance.

The women were swiftly escorted off stage by security guards and the 39-year-old beauty went on with the show, crowning Lovelyn Enebechi her latest Top Model protégée.

Heidi to judge America's Got Talent

As well as hosting the modelling TV show, Heidi is set to join the judging panel on America's Got Talent along with Spice Girls star Mel B, radio shock jock Howard Stern and TV star Howie Mandel.

Mel, 38, recently revealed the judges are a "feisty" group with different personality quirks.

She said: "[Howard] is completely inappropriate and out of everybody on the panel, I get along with him the most! He is a bit grumpy sometimes. Heidi is very sweet; we're really good friends. Howie is a germaphobe - he rides around in his private jet, and then me and Heidi get to ride around in his private jet, too, but you still can't touch his hands!

"So between the four of us, it's a completely discombobulated group that somehow get on."
