Tori Spelling and husband too broke to pay for vasectomy

Los Angeles - Tori Spelling's husband Dean McDermott can't afford to have a vasectomy.

The 40-year-old actress and her husband, who have four children, Liam, six, Stella, five, Hattie, two, and Finn, 14 months, were warned by their business manager that the procedure was too expensive to be included in their tight budget after their reality TV series was cancelled last year.

The former Beverly Hills 90210 star told People magazine: "We don't have a series on the air right now, so we have to be more restrictive of what we can spend, just like anyone who doesn't currently have a steady job."

Tori, who is currently renting a modest home in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, reportedly only inherited $800 000 from her TV producer, Aaron Spelling, who died in 2006.

Financial boost

The actress also sold her last house at a loss and racked up huge medical bills after developing complications during her fourth pregnancy.

The blonde beauty admitted in her new memoir, Spelling It Like It Is, that the couple has had to cut back recently.

She wrote: "Our circumstances have changed."

But she is hoping to boost her finances when her next reality show, Tori & Dean: Cabin Fever, airs in the US next spring and has also signed up to star in a new ABC Family pilot, Mystery Girls, with her close friend and former co-star Jennie Garth.
