Twilight star ties the knot

Los Angeles - Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald have tied the knot following a whirlwind romance.
The
Twilight Saga star and the former
American Idol contestant - who first met in March and announced their engagement in June - exchanged vows in front of 100 guests at a private ranch in Malibu, California.
Nikki told
Us Weekly magazine: "We couldn't be happier! [We were] surrounded by our family and friends. We're so glad this day has come!"
Paul's friend and fellow
American Idol contestant Stefano Langone had previously revealed he was due to perform at the nuptials after impressing Nikki with one of his songs.
He said: "I played Nikki a song of mine, and she said, 'You need to play that at my wedding.' She absolutely loved it and I'm really excited to play for them. I love them both."
The onePaul, 27, knew 23-year-old Nikki was 'the one' for him almost as soon as they started dating.
He said: "It's kind of one of those things you don't expect. Like, last year I never would have thought I'd be getting married.
"She's amazing. She's the perfect girl. We fit each other; when you know, you know, and she's the one."
Whirlwind romanceNikki - who plays Rosalie Hale in the vampire movie franchise - has expressed similar sentiment, saying she doesn't care what people think of their whirlwind romance.
She said: "I've never met anyone like him. I've never met anyone who has such a good solid heart and comes from such a good solid family and is just a genuine person.
"We have the exact same sense of humour. I've never laughed so much with anyone as I do with him."
