Los Angeles - Kanye West reportedly attacked a paparazzo at LAX on Friday.
The rapper is said to have flipped out when an "aggressive" photographer continued to ask him questions after he told him not to and Kanye atempted to punch the man, who then fell to the ground, according to TMZ.
Both police and the paramedics were called, although Kanye left the scene immediately.
The LA Times is reporting that Los Angeles police have launched a battery investigation following the incident, which was reported at 14:00.
No visible signs of injury
Samir Chantre, a Brazilian jiujitsu instructor who was returning from a flight from Brazil at the time, told the publication: "Five photographers started shooting pictures of him and one of them was over the microphone and was saying stuff to him.
"[Kanye] seemed like he was getting offended."
Mr Chantre added the rapper ran after one of the photographers and the two were pulled apart by onlookers.
The extent of the photographer's injuries are unclear although onlookers claimed there were no visible signs of injury.
