Paris - French singer and actress Vanessa Paradis has flatly denied a split with her partner Johnny Depp following mounting speculation.

"The rumour is false, of course it is false," she told a news programme on the French Canal+ television station on Tuesday.

"It's a rumour that could really damage my family," she added.
