Los Angeles - Former Miss America and legendary actress Vanessa Williams revealed some shocking news recently.
In an interview with veteran talk show host, Oprah Winfrey, the Desperate Housewives actress shared that she had been sexually assaulted by an 18-year-old female when she was 10 years old.
In a recent appearance on Oprah's next chapter, Williams recalled her tragic experience: "She was one of the cool girls. ... She made you want to feel like you were a grown-up. ... She told me to lie down on the floor. She took my bottoms off and she said, 'Be quiet'. She went down on me. I had no idea what it was, but I knew it felt good. ... I knew it felt good, but was also something that was not supposed to be happening. ... I kinda suppressed it, [but] it made me more sexually promiscuous and more sexually curious at a younger age than I should have been."
Williams, who was the first African American Miss America, went on to say that she refuses to let her past change her present.
