Vin Diesel is struggling with Paul Walker's death

Los Angeles -  Vin Diesel is still mourning the loss of Paul Walker.

The Fast and the Furious star has admitted he is struggling to cope with the "painful void" since his "brother" died alongside his friend, Roger Rodas, when their car crashed and burst into flames in Santa Clarita, California on 30 November.

The 46-year-old actor posted a picture of himself laughing with his late co-star while on a press tour for their latest film from the franchise on Facebook on Thursday, with the caption: "There was always moments of child-like laughter... We had accomplished so much by 2013... P.s. The complexities of Brotherhood, and the painful void... of it's absence."

Vin revealed late last month that Fast & Furious 7, which he began filming alongside Paul in September, will be released on 10 April 2015, even though they were on a break from shooting when the star passed away.

He posted a photo of them on Facebook on 22 December with the caption: "The last scene we filmed together...There was a unique sense of completion, of pride we shared... in the film we were now completing... the magic captured... and, in just how far we've come... Fast and Furious 7 will be released...April 10th 2015! P.s. He'd want you to know first.(sic)"
