Los Angeles - Vincent Kartheiser had no idea who Alexis Bledel was when they first met.
Although Alexis found fame playing Rory Gilmore on long running drama Gilmore Girls, Vincent admitted he wasn't familiar with the show and had never heard of Alexis before meeting on the set of Mad Men.
Speaking on Watch What Happens Live, he told host Andy Cohen: "I never watched the show. In fact, when I met her, I didn't know who she was."

'Ssmitten from the beginning'
The 31-year-old actress and the 33-year-old actor announced their engagement in March and friends believe Vincent was interested in Alexis from the first moment he saw her.
A source said: "Vinnie basically fell in love with Alexis while she filmed a three-episode cameo. He was definitely smitten with her from the beginning."
When she was working on Mad Men, Alexis had nothing but praise for Vincent.
She said at the time: "He's light and funny and has lots of energy on set. He keeps everybody energised as well."
Alexis was previously in a long-term relationship with her Gilmore Girls co-star Milo Ventimiglia that ended in July 2006.
