Los Angeles - Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield have sparked rumours they have rekindled their relationship.
The Aloha actress, who split from the British actor last month after three years of dating, was reportedly spotted holding hands with him in Malibu, California earlier this week.
An eyewitness told E! News the couple seemed to be having a great time, as they enjoyed a romantic date at the Malibu Farm restaurant.
The rare sighting comes shortly after the 26-year-old actress praised her Amazing Spider-Man co-star for being "so poetic."
After Diane Keaton told her Andrew described working with her as being "like diving into a thrilling, twisting river and never holding on to the sides", Emma responded: 'He is such a poet. [laughs] But that's the way he writes in general. So I hear it and of course my heart swells up. And I also know that he writes things like that on a daily basis. He's so poetic."
The duo were said to have ended their romance due to the 31-year-old actor's dedication to his role as a 17th century Jesuit in the upcoming film Silence, which he began shooting in Taiwan in January after losing 40 pounds.
An insider previously said: "Emma ended things and moved back to LA. It's finished. It's not just a break.
"He'd been in a dark place for months, getting into his role. He wasn't being the best partner."
