Los Angeles – The US Department of Transport is using shock tactics to highlight the dangers of texting and driving.
The new 30 second ad depicts a fatal side collision which takes place because the young driver was texting while behind the wheel.
The ad, which has caused a stir on social media, ends with the tagline: "U Drive. U Text. U Pay."
