Zac Efron had sex at his high school prom

Los Angeles  - Zac Efron had sex at his high school prom. 

The That Awkward Moment actor has admitted he made love to a former girlfriend on the night of the senior year dance. 

When asked where the craziest place he's ever had sex is, he told E! News: "I think it was at prom with my girlfriend of three years."

The 26-year-old star, who has admitted to being a fan of sex on the kitchen table, also said he believes in love at first sight, but added: "It doesn't mean it's permanent love."

Zac - who dated his High School Musical co-star Vanessa Hudgens from 2007 until 2010 - also revealed he doesn't have a particular type when it comes to women and is open to dating all different types of girls. 

He explained: "There's no criteria. I like a lot of girls. I have an open mind. You don't know. There's one out there that you meet and you don't why but they're perfect for you."

Zac is now in a "great place" after completing a stint in rehab last year for alleged cocaine and alcohol abuse and he was recently seen wearing a blue Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) chip, marking six months of sobriety. 

He explained: "I feel great, better than I have probably ever in my life. I'm in a great place and it's nice to be here and promoting a movie that I feel very proud of. It just feels like a whole new chapter for me and I'm very excited and happy to be here with these guys."
