The actor was filmed dropping a pack of condoms on the red carpet at the premiere of his new animated children's film The Lorax and while he was embarrassed by the incident, he is pleased his fans know he thinks it's important to be careful in the bedroom.
Zac - who is reportedly dating Lily Collins - told The Today Show host Matt Lauer: "I never really had a pocket checking policy prior to going onto the red carpet but now I have fully instated one.
"But it's a great message to add to the many messages of the film."
The 24-year-old heartthrob has a huge female fanbase all over the world, but it seems actress Lily is the lucky girl who won his heart.
The couple have been spotted on several dates over the past few weeks and sources claims they are smitten with each other.
