Cape Town – There is a video recording of Kim Kardashian West in her Paris apartment after the robbery doing the rounds and whoever filmed it faces serious legal implications.
TMZ reports an unknown person took a video from inside Kim’s apartment shortly after police responded to the robbery scene.
The video shows Kim sitting on the couch wrapped in a blanket FaceTiming with someone while police sweep the area for evidence.
This is a major violation of French privacy laws as it is illegal to film someone in a private setting without their consent.
The video leaked online and reportedly appeared on various websites, but was immediately shut down by Kim’s legal team.
According to TMZ, Kim’s legal team is working with French authorities round the clock to find out who the unknown person is.
If found, the person could face a year in prison and be fined the equivalent of about $50 000.
