According to E! News the collaboration developed while Angie was directing First They Killed My Father in Cambodia in 2015.
The 41-year-old also shares an emotional connection to the beauty brand as Guerlain powders were one of her late mother’s favourites.
Thierry Wasser, Guerlain’s Master Perfumer, drew his inspiration from Angelina to create a fragrance expressing the idea of the “notes of a woman”: the choices, emotions and dreams that embody modern femininity.
French perfumer, Jacques Guerlain said in a press release, “We create perfumes for the women we admire.”
Angelina will reportedly donate her earnings from the Guerlain fragrance campaign to charity.
