Billy Joel welcomes a baby girl with wife Alexis

Cape Town – Billy Joel and his wife, Alexis have welcomed their second child together, a baby girl named Remy Anne.

People magazine confirmed Alexis gave birth at New York University Hospital on Sunday. Baby Remy entered the world at 19:52, weighing 7 lbs. 3 oz (3.3kg).

According to Billy’s rep, “Alexis and Remy are doing well, and everyone is thrilled.”

Alongside a photo of the proud new dad and his newborn daughter on Instagram, Billy shared that he and his 31-year-old daughter from his previous marriage were in the delivery room for the birth.
