Blac Chyna’s attorney responds to Rob’s revenge porn

Cape Town - Blac Chyna’s attorney has responded to Rob Kardashian’s revenge porn shared on social media.

According to People magazine, Walter Mosley said in a statement that he is investigating Chyna’s legal options after Rob shared explicit images of Chyna on social media.

Mosley said: “I am exploring all legal remedies and protections available to my client at this time in attempts to best advise her on how she may want to proceed.”

The attorney’s statement comes after Rob blew up on social media accusing Chyna of infidelity, drug abuse and cosmetic surgery among other things. (Read more here)

According to the California Penal Code any person who distributes content with the intention of causing emotional distress to another is punishable by 6 months in jail.

Rob’s actions give Chyna the right to consider all her legal options however TMZ reports it is unlikely that the sock designer will be prosecuted as Chyna liked all the images shared on Instagram before they were removed.

According to a legal expert Carrie Goldberg - who is an attorney and founder of internet abuse and sexual consent firm  C. A. Goldberg - “this is sort of the classic, quintessential revenge porn. Rob has made the work of a prosecutor or a victim’s attorney quite easy so far as to even post about the very motive behind his outrageous act of posting these private and nude photos of his ex.”

She added to People magazine that “the allegation of infidelity does not give someone the right to seek revenge in such a devastating way.”

Rob and Blac Chyna started dating in January 2016. The former couple got engaged in April 2016 and announced in May that they were expecting their now 7-month- old daughter Dream Kardashian.

Rob and Chyna called off their engagement in February.
