Britney Spears says she has never met Taylor Swift but here’s a pic of them together

Cape Town - During a recent interview on Aussie radio station, KIIS 106.5FM Britney Spears was asked a tricky question.

Hosts Kyle and Jackie wanted to know who the 34-year-old singer would sit next to during a 24-hour flight if she had to pick between Taylor Swift and Katy Perry.

(Obviously the question refers to the Katy/Taylor/Kanye/Calvin beef)

Britney, wanting to steer clear of any drama, said she’d like to sit next to Taylor because she has never met her before.

Which just so happened to be a total lie because Britney met Tay Tay at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards.

Britney: “They're both so cool, I don't know.”

Presenter: “Do you know or do you have a friendship with either?”

Britney: “I briefly met Katy Perry at the Smurfs movie premiere and I met her there really quick. So maybe because I've met Katy Perry, I would say Taylor Swift because I've never met her before.”

Is Britney pulling a Mariah Carey “I don’t know J.LO” here or is she trying to side-step sparking some possible beef? IDK.
