Charlie Sheen expected to announce HIV status on live TV

Cape Town – A report by TMZ on Monday night revealed that Hollywood actor Charlie Sheen will reveal his HIV status to the world.

According to the gossip site Sheen is expected to announce that he is HIV positive during an interview on the Today show on Tuesday morning.

A statement released by the TV show said Sheen would make a "revealing personal announcement" to host Matt Lauer.

Rumours have been swirling since last week on several gossip sites that a well-known Hollywood actor is HIV positive.
