Chris Brown breaks his silence after alleged battery

Los Angeles - Chris Brown plans to file lawsuits against those who have "lied on his name".

The Loyal hitmaker was accused of punching a woman on Saturday morning in Las Vegas and now appears to have responded to the claims, insisting he will keep his friend circle small from today onwards.

He wrote on Instagram: "Keeping my circle small in 2016! I'm done taking the care of grown ass men. And I'm going to be hella rich after all the lawsuits I file from these crazy individuals who keep lying on my name. Happy NEW YEAR! Time for some of us to grow the fuck up! (sic)"

In the incident, the 26-year-old singer allegedly struck the victim's right eye using his fist because she had snuck her mobile phone into the private party he was holding in his suite at the Palms Hotel.

Meanwhile, Chris previously admitted he has made mistakes in the past but has started to reign things in since realising he was a father.

Chris - who has daughter Royalty with ex-lover Nia Guzman - said: "People make mistakes, I've made mistakes, I've judged people who made mistakes, and they judge me back. The best part about it is me having to learn. I think I had a great time, like I didn't have a great time at all, but it was a great lesson for me to learn."
