Chris Rock writes off the South African girl that's lived with his family since infancy

Los Angeles - Chris Rock has reportedly not seen the seven-year-old girl who lived with his family since infancy, in a year.

The American comedian filed for divorce from his wife Malaak late last year and according to TMZ, although he has maintained a relationship with his biological daughters, Chris has subsequently not seen Ntombi, the South African girl who has been living with the Rock family since 2008.

The 50-year-old star - who has two biological daughters, 12-year-old Lola and 10-year-old Zahra, with his estranged wife - previously admitted being a father was a responsibility he relished.

He said: "When I hear people talk about juggling, or the sacrifices they make for their children, I look at them like they're crazy.

"Because 'sacrifice' infers that there was something better to do than being with your children. And I've never been with my kids and gone, 'Man, I wish I was on my stage right now.'"

Chris confessed he often wishes he could spend more time with his children.

He said: "I've never been with my kids and gone, 'Man, it'd be so great if I was on a movie set right now.' But I've been doing a movie and wished that I was with my kids."
