The 31-year-old – who has always been open about her and John’s infertility struggles – explained the IVF process revealing that they had a loss before Luna was concieved.

She told the magazine that she wished she had extracted more eggs during her fertility treatment.

The couple started with 20 embryos, of which only three were viable after being genetically tested. Luna was their second transfer attempt.

“The first little girl didn’t work, and then the second is Luna.”

In January, Chrissy sparked pregnancy rumours when she let slip that their second child will hopefully be a boy in an interview.

She later took to Twitter to clear the air revealing that she was referring to their third embryo. During the testing process the sex of each of the three embryos was determined making the third a boy.

Chrissy and John welcomed baby Luna on 14 April 2016.
