Chrissy Teigen forced to change her phone number after it was accidentally published in her cookbook

Los Angeles - Chrissy Teigen has had to change her phone number after eagle-eyed fans spotted it on a picture of her dog.

The 30-year-old beauty - who is expecting her first child with husband John Legend - was bombarded with calls from fans who bought her new cook book Cravings and spied the digits on one of the pages.

She tweeted: "Early purchasers of my cookbook were gifted with my tiiiiiny phone number on Pippa's collar on page 111. Learned this after 100 or so calls!

"I have since changed it but thank you for all the kind voicemails!

"but really - to all friends, i had to change my number today so please don't be mad at me for not getting back to any texts!!!!(sic)"

Chrissy recently insisted she doesn't want to upset chefs with her book as she doesn't want them to think she believes she is as accomplished in the kitchen as they are.

She told People magazine: "I spent the past three years trying to prove to people that I love food, I love cooking.

"And that I have a passion for it that's beyond just wanting to be a model in the food world."

For the star, that meant making sure chefs didn't think she was trying to be one of them. "It was always important to me that the people that I love and respected knew that I wasn't trying to step on their toes.

"Because there is nothing that I would hate more than a real, proper chef - who was trained and owns a restaurant and is working their ass off - to ever have any kind of comparison to somebody like me."
