Demi Lovato's self-imposed exile from social media lasted less than 24 hours

Los Angeles - Demi Lovato has returned to Twitter after quitting for just one day.

The 23-year-old pop beauty announced she would be going on a break from social media on Tuesday but less than 24 hours later she has returned and vowed to be "more honest than ever" with her tweets.

She tweeted:

Fuck this.. I'm back bitches. And I'm coming back more honest than ever

The Confident hitmaker then reminded her fans how much she loves them and assured them she won't let "haters" get to her again.

She added on Twitter:
