Cape Town – The internet was all kinds of upset over Kim Kardashian’s nude selfie that she posted on Twitter just after midnight early Monday morning. (See below)
Some celebrities even took to the social networking service to set Kim straight.
Chloë Grace Moretz tweeted: "@KimKardashian I truly hope you realize how important setting goals are for young women, teaching them we have so much more to offer than just our bodies."
While Bette Midler tweeted: "Kim Kardashian tweeted a nude selfie today. If Kim wants us to see a part of her we've never seen, she's gonna have to swallow the camera."
British TV host Pierce Morgan offered to buy Kim clothes: "I know the old man's $50 million in debt, Kim - but this is absurd. Want me to buy you some clothes?"
Kim isn’t really one to react to backlash and you’ll seldom see her being bitchy on Twitter – she’s got a mega-brand to protect afterall.
But on Tuesday morning Kim’s Twitter account was firing bullets right at her celebrity haters.
"sorry I'm late to the party guys I was busy cashing my 80 million video game check & transferring 53 million into our joint account," she tweeted.
Followed by: "hey @piersmorgan never offer to buy a married woman clothes. thats on some ashley madison type shit #forresearch."
She later added: "hey @BetteMidler I know it's past your bedtime but if you're still up and reading this send nudes #justkidding."
And then she threw some punches at Chloë: "let's all welcome @ChloeGMoretz to twitter, since no one knows who she is. your nylon cover is cute boo."
But it definitely wasn’t Kim behind the mean tweets. In fact all evidence points to the fact that Kim’s hubby Kanye might possibly be behind the Twitter tirade.
Kanye, who is known for his Twitter tantrums, almost always starts his tweets with small letters. The sentence construction and lack of punctuation is also typical Kanye.
It all ended with another naked pic of Kim and #Liberated. (FYI: #Liberated is now trending in SA)
Something tells us mama Kris is not going to be happy about this!
