Los Angeles - Chris Hemsworth says changing dirty diapers keeps him grounded.
The 32-year-old actor has three-year-old daughter India Rose and two-year-old twin sons Sasha and Tristan with his wife Elsa Pataky and insists his dad duties stop him from developing an ego based on his day job as a Hollywood hero.
Speaking on UK TV show Good Morning Britain, he said: "When you're a parent it's not about you any more which is refreshing and my kids are hilarious and insane and crazy - it's good. You go from press tours and work and then straight back into reality and you're handed a child with a nappy."
Speaking about his marriage in December 2010 to 36-year-old Spanish actress Elsa, which occurred after just several months of them dating, The Huntsman: Winter's War insists their whirlwind nuptials "just felt right".
The Australian hunk - famous for playing Marvel superhero Thor - said: "It did happen quick and it just felt right, just, it made sense. There was no great plan to any of it to be honest, we were on holiday and we said, 'Why don't we get married too?' And then the next minute ... There probably should have been some planning but it all worked out.
"Honestly, we had both our families on holiday at the same time, just randomly, and we said this is a good opportunity with everyone together so we just did it."
