Elon Musk confirms split with Amber Heard on Instagram

Cape Town - Elon Musk has confirmed he and Amber Heard have broken up, with a comment on one of the actress’ photos on Instagram.

Amber shared a photo of herself holding a fork to her hair alongside a picture of the Little Mermaid doing the same thing.

She captioned the pic: “Put a fork in it.”

Elon first commented on the picture saying it was very cute and then later clarified his relationship with the Aquaman actress.

In a lengthy comment Elon wrote: “Although Amber and I did break up, we are still friends, remain close and love one another.”

He then added that maintaining a long distance relationship while having “intense work obligations” is not easy.
