Emmy Rossum weds Mr Robot creator Sam Esmail

Cape Town – Emmy Rossum and Sam Esmail have tied the knot.

People magazine confirmed the couple married in an intimate ceremony at the east 55th street Conservative Synagogue in New York City on Sunday.

Guests included Emmy’s onscreen father, William H. Macey as well as Mr Robot stars Rami Malek, Christian Slater and Carly Chaikin.

The Shameless actress wore an off-the-shoulder gown matched with a white veil while Sam wore a black suit.

The 39-year-old screenwriter proposed to Emmy, 30, in August 2015 after dating for two years.
