Cape Town – While Taylor Swift found her way to the top of Forbes' annual list of the 100 highest-paid celebrities with $170m, some were not so lucky.
They may have filled their bank accounts enough to make last year’s Forbes 100 list but failed to make this year’s list due to the rise in earnings cut-off from $28.5m to $30.5m.
The biggest drop is Manny Pacquiao who took second place last year with $160m, The Eagles dropped out from 14th place after earning $73.5m last year while Justin Timberlake fell from 19th place after bringing in $63.5m.
Lady Gaga fell out of 25th place while Bradley Cooper, Adam Sandler and Bruno Mars lost their spots in the top 60 consecutively.
Although she is the highest grossing actress at the box office, Scarlett Johansson lost her spot in the top 70 followed by Pharrell Williams and Leonardo DiCaprio in the top 90.
