Gotham star’s child still missing

Cape Town – Gotham actor Donal Logue’s child is still missing after a week of searching.

The Gotham actor and his ex-wife Kasey Smith have issued numerous pleas on social media in the hopes of finding the teen.

Jade Logue was reported missing by her father on Twitter last week. The teen who according to the National Centre For Missing and Exploited Children is also known as Arlo Logue has been missing from Brooklyn, New York since Monday, 26 June.

In a Facebook post on Saturday, Donal Logue shared a photo of Jade saying: “This is my daughter, Jade. It's one of my favourite photos of her taken from a happier time.”

“I love all people and have met tons, but honestly (I'm biased) there's never been a more loving, innocent, cuddly child than Jade. I love her and who she is and her tribe is strong (I've met many wonderful people through Jade), but there are some predators who swim among their ranks knowing they're dealing with sweet, trusting souls.

“We want you home,” he continued.

The 51-year-old also added that the situation had become “big and crazy,” adding that he has “dogged teams from the NYPD, FBI, and others involved.”

“The point is, you may have had good intentions to help her, but I'm sure you realise that this situation is bigger than you could've anticipated. It's okay. Just drop her off.”

Jade’s mother has also shared a number of photos of the teen, as well as a video talking to Jade and anyone else watching.

In the video Kasey asks for any information regarding the 16-year-old’s whereabouts to be brought forward.

She then adds that Jade’s “gender and her sexual orientation does not matter here. What matters is that there is a child out there missing.”

“Jade’s story is for Jade to tell when and if she is ever ready to tell it.”
