Grey's Anatomy star Jesse Williams and his wife split

Cape Town – Grey's Anatomy star Jesse Williams and his wife Aryn Drake-Lee have called it quits after nearly five years of marriage.

According to E! News it was Jesse who filed the papers and is seeking joint and legal custody of their two children as well as to terminate Aryn’s request for spousal support.

The couple met when Jesse was still working as a school teacher and dated for more than five years before tying the knot in September 2012.

The former couple share 3-year-old daughter Sadie and 1-year-old son Maceo.
