Los Angeles - Hulk Hogan was "completely humiliated" when his sex tape was posted online.
The wrestling legend claims he was affected both professionally and personally by Gawker's publication of the footage, which showed him having sex with Heather Clem, as he testified in court on Monday to try and secure a $100m payout for damages.
He told jurors: "I was completely humiliated. It was even embarrassing as my character. Hulk Hogan was embarrassed."
During the hearing, lawyers for Hulk - real name Terry Bollea - claim he had a right to expect privacy as he was in a private bedroom and they also state he had no knowledge of the filming taking place.

Attorneys for the website countered the arguments by insisting "this kind of reporting is important" and claiming they are protected under the First Amendment of the US Constitution, the New York Post newspaper reports.
Meanwhile, the 62-year-old wrestler previously revealed he is feeling positive about the case.
Speaking outside the court room, he told reporters he was feeling "pretty darn good" but admitted he was "not used to getting up this early" to do anything other than work out.
The court case continues, with Hulk Hogan expected to continue testifying on Tuesday.
