Jamie Lynne Spears daughter critically injured in accident

Cape Town – Jamie Lynn Spears’ daughter is reportedly in critical condition following an ATV accident on Sunday.

TMZ reported the 8-year-old’s condition is extremely serious after an all-terrain vehicle flipped over causing Maddie to be submerged under water for several minutes.

Paramedics airlifted her to a nearby hospital.

The gossip website added that Jamie Lynn was not with her daughter at the time of the accident.

Following the news spread of Maddie’s accident, Jamie Lynn released a statement saying media reports were incorrect.

Perez Hilton shared the statement, which read: “The details the media are reporting surrounding the incident regarding Jamie Lynn's daughter Maddie are incorrect. Right now the Spears family asks that everyone respect their privacy during this time and appreciates all the prayers and support for their family.”
