Jennifer Garner says magazine cover is fake news

Cape Town – Jennifer Garner has called People magazine out for the cover and feature story of their latest issue.

The Alias actress set the record straight after People revealed Jen on their cover saying the 45-year-old isn’t ready to start dating following her divorce from Ben Affleck.

In the statement Jen wrote: “It has been brought to my attention that there is a People magazine cover and article out today that appear to be coming from me...

“I did not pose for this cover. I did not participate in or authorise this article.”

The magazine feature tells its readers “why Jennifer Garner is finding it difficult to move on from 'love of her life' and father of her 3 kids,” and while Jen acknowledges the article isn’t “a tragedy by any measure” it still affects her family.

Jennifer ended her statement wishing all her followers a “beautiful day” and noted, for the record, that she has three beautiful kids and that her family is complete.
