John Mayer in tears after watching This Is Us

Los Angeles - John Mayer can't stop crying while watching Mandy Moore's new show.

The 39-year-old singer loves the emotional drama This Is Us but admitted it has left him in floods of tears.

He wrote on Twitter: "Just saw the first episode of 'This is Us' and I'm hooked. Cryin' and hooked. Not even wiping away tears for the next episodes. Just gonna let the first ones create tracks for a more even, efficient flow."

Mandy was thrilled to find out about the show's famous fan and wrote back saying: "Glad you're digging it."

And John replied: "Beyond dig, @TheMandyMoore. I'm about to attempt one of the most emotionally reckless stunts ever: watching an episode ON AN AIRPLANE (sic)."

John is not the only famous fan of the show, which stars Mandy, 32, and Gilmore Girls actor Milo Ventimiglia, 39.

Abigail Breslin recently took to social media to share her love for the drama, writing: "I'm 18 minutes into the first episode of @NBCThisisUs and have already developed 80 new unrealistic expects for relationships. So thanks. Also I'm obsessed."
