Katy Perry's hilarious reaction to Calvin Harris' tweet

Los Angeles - Katy Perry shared a cryptic tweet after becoming embroiled in Calvin Harris' rant towards Taylor Swift on Twitter.

The 31-year-old star retweeted a message she wrote in May 2015 which read time, the ultimate truth teller after the 32-year-old DJ - who recently split from the Bad Blood hitmaker - claimed his ex was trying to "bury" him "like Katy".

The raven-haired singer also shared an animated Gif of US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton pulling a smug "I told you so"-type expression.

Katy's tweets come just hours after Calvin took to the social networking site to claim his former flame - who has infamously clashed with the Teenage Dream hitmaker in the past - is trying to "tear him down" after she confirmed she wrote his latest song This Is What You Came For.

Taylor's representative confirmed on Wednesday that she had penned his new tune, telling MailOnline: "Taylor Swift wrote This Is What You Came For under the pseudonym Nils Sjöberg."

Since then the real Nils Sjöberg has come forward playing into the whole thing with funny doodles.

Nils is a Swedish artist who runs a Tumblr account called Nils First World Problems, in which people can submit their first world problems to him and he then translates them into his drawings.

It's pretty fitting because Nils was faced with his own first world problem 5 weeks ago when it was revealed Taylor Swift used his birth name as her pseudonym.

And of course, he is totally cool with it because it means more traffic towards his blog.
